It's been possible T-storms every day for 2 weeks here in Boston. Hopefully the swampy weather pattern changes by then.

skip the Cape, drive an hour north to Gloucester/Rockport/Manchester for beaches, lobster rolls, etc.
Try The Market restaurant in Annisquam.
In MA, just go to any town that ends in an -ogue or -tucket and you are good to go.
