Hot Sauce is still holding up.

Nonstop Disco Powerpoint is up there with the best of them. Really, really good song.

unfortunately it's a bit uneven though. some of the beasties top work, along side some backspacer quality tunes.

Yeah, I thought for sure, if there were any band that would age well, and be fun in older age, it would be the Beastie Boys. At the time, I thought we really would see them make an album, and actually looking like they did from the SOS cover:

Me too, man. They could have gone out on worse albums, that's for sure.

Would it surprise and/or upset you to learn that I still have not yet heard this album?

It would make me happy for you, Joey, knowing you still have it to look forward to.

I have never understood the emphasis people put on shaming people for not having heard or seen certain things. What a drag it would be to have seen and heard it all by your 30's.

With that being said, if you like the Beastie Boys, you should listen to this soon, joey. What a great album you have ahead of you.

I adore the Beastie Boys. I'm not sure why I never picked it up. Then Adam died and I went backwards instead of forwards. Since then I haven't felt a huge push to hear the stuff I haven't heard yet. Recently, I've felt ready.
