There have been some pretty dreadful versions since 2000 -- Columbus 2003 has to give Philly a run for its money. Or that show from '08 where they stopped in the middle of it and played something else instead. At least in Philly they finished the song.
I went with the Boston version for my Live On 3 Legs 2000 comp - it's a bit more energetic than the Tampa version (which is also excellent). I think that Portland version was on the shortlist too
The version from Amsterdam last year was passable and easily the best in the last decade, but this song really isn't served well by drop-tuning

They are very close, but not totally flub-free. Mike always gets lost/confused somewhere. Tampa is the only version that I can say is 100% flub-free. Trust me. I tried to find another one. It probably doesn't matter though.

The only time they played it perfectly was Tampa 2000 - the version on TB2K. All of the other 2000 versions have various mistakes (usually by Mike). It was played so infrequently after 2000, they never came close again. The worst performance ever was probably Philly 2009 #2, which I unfortunately witnessed.

Yup, likewise. The music is interesting. I like the odd timing, is there some 5/4 in there? Overall though, the song just doesn't do it for me. Having said that, I'd like them to experiment a bit more like they did with Evacuation and Cropduster. I feel like LB is just PJ trying to sound like what they think PJ should sound like. Does that make sense? Probably not. I don't know, basically I like the direction they tried with Binaural, and I feel they regressed with LB.

There is definitely a lot of familiar feeling songs on LB, especially compared to an album like binaural. But I do think songs like infallible or sleeping by myself sound like comparatively new directions. Pendulum and MFS as well
