Re: Wandavision (Disney+)
What would the equivalent of a Luke Skywalker cameo be? You'd need to find a huge fan favorite from the 70s.
Japanese Spiderman giant robot?
The Greatest American Hero?

Be funny if it was Hamill playing some obscure marvel fan favourite

Ian McKellen or Patrick Stewart? Paul Bettany has also spoken about getting to work with an actor that he’s been wanting to work with for years, and how amazing it was.B wrote:What would the equivalent of a Luke Skywalker cameo be? You'd need to find a huge fan favorite from the 70s.

Patrick Stewart would come pretty close to be as exciting as the Greatest American Hero.

Disney acquired the rights to the x-men when they bought Fox. It’s the same reason they couldn’t use S.W.O.R.D. until now. I think Professor X or Magneto are probably long shots to appear on this show, but I can’t really think of anyone else who fits the criteria.dimejinky99 wrote:Aren’t X and magneto etc in different universes than avengers or some shit?

Re: Wandavision (Disney+)
Magneto would seem to make the most sense to me since there's familial relation there to Quicksilver. McKellen showing up would be mindblowing.Zantac Junkie wrote:Disney acquired the rights to the x-men when they bought Fox. It’s the same reason they couldn’t use S.W.O.R.D. until now. Mckellan is a god. I’d watch him in anything.
I just don’t know anything about marvel. Thought they were in different universes. Nothing to do with who owns what IP

They have been in different universe, specifically b/c of who owns the IP.dimejinky99 wrote:Thought they were in different universes. Nothing to do with who owns what IP
Fans are very excited about this stuff all coming together since Disney now owns Fox and multiple universes were introduced into MCU.

Re: Wandavision (Disney+)
It would almost have to be an established X-character. Wolverine is the most popular and Jackman said he’d only play him again if he was brought into the Avengers. Xavier and Magneto would also be top tier X. As far as established onscreen.
Let me tell you, Homer Simpson is cock of nothing!

I would have thought they'd recast the X characters a lot of those actors are up there in age.

Re: Wandavision (Disney+)
Either she doesn’t really understand the wowness of Luke in the Mandalorian or it’s going to be one of the three I mentioned. No other characters we’ve seen in any Marvel character movie or show would have the same impact.
