I regret not getting one of those lighters. They were up on the website for ages too.dimejinky99 wrote:I shouldn't poke fun. I'm who this stuff is aimed at. (Nowhere near as crazy as some of the collectors I know. But I did have a thing for this logo. It's great)
I'm sure he smiles and sees dollar signs in his eyes.stupidmop wrote:For a guy who once took issue with people chanting his name at concerts, he sure doesn't seem to mind people walking around with his initials emblazoned on all thier shit.
I wonder how he reacts when he sees a fan at a show wearing thier EV tshirt with thier EV cap and EV socks, drinking out of thier EV cup, lighting a cigarette with thier EV lighter.
If they'd just release the album I could waste my time bitching about that instead of cups.

I have this. It's great. But I'm sure bruce&e street did one exactly like it.
So now they're plagiarising too??!
Yeah, I agree. If they put this stuff up for sale on their site and no one bought any of it, they wouldn't make it. But pretty much everything sells instantly. Also, I'm not sure if it's still this way, but like 35% of the posts on the Pit at some point were about more merchandise they wish the band would make.McParadigm wrote:Honestly, I think all this stuff has lowered my opinion of Pearl Jam fans more than that of the band. If it's all merch, shirts, and new payments for old shows, now, then it's only because people are buying.
I will love you forever if you can tell me that's an actual post someone made.Lament wrote:"Guys, I was at Target buying a toaster and I was like 'HOW SICK WOULD IT BE IF I COULD BUY A PEARL JAM TOASTER?' Do you think 10C will make one if I start a petition?"
I figured I'd made it up, but I thought "eh, it's Pearl Jam fans, maybe I didn't." So I ran a search, and this is the closest I came up with. It's not as glorious as I'd have hoped for...McParadigm wrote:I will love you forever if you can tell me that's an actual post someone made.Lament wrote:"Guys, I was at Target buying a toaster and I was like 'HOW SICK WOULD IT BE IF I COULD BUY A PEARL JAM TOASTER?' Sorry, I didn't mean to sound like I was trawling to get one of yours. Good idea about posting in lost dogs though, cheers.dimejinky99 wrote:Easily got for cost price if you go to lost dogs and stick up a post.
I'd give you one of these but both are special to me.
If you need help getting one let me know.
Gosh that was quick. Got one for cost price within half an hour. Cheers Dime!Fuzzcharger wrote:Sorry, I didn't mean to sound like I was trawling to get one of yours. But when Ed's being a capitalistic whore (which is fine), is it supposed to pass as irony that his art is a rip-off of iconic logo? I ask that as a serious question. I'm not baffled by his selling crap but by the choice of artwork.B wrote:Google travel coffee mug ... there are plenty of mugs over $20. I'm not saying I'd pay that, but how far is it from "I need a new OXO coffee mug w/ rubber grips" to "I need a new coffee mug, maybe I'll get one w/ my favorite rock band's logo"?
I've yet to buy any of this merchandise, but with the exception of the dog collars, which still blow my mind, this stuff is hardly out of the realm of the super fan with disposable income.
