This is one of Pearl Jams best flowing songs. One section flows to the next perfectly and smoothly. Very wave-y. Like a beautiful wave. Like being on a love boat with some nice waves going on. But also a bit of a storm. The music never feels forced in any way. Good song.

Change the line to “singles cruise captain,” and I already like the entire first verse quite a bit more

I heard the ticket prices this tour are intended to facilitate reworking it as "Luxe Boat Captain."

just gave this a relisten. there are elements I like, but as a centerpiece song it just doesnt carry its weight. And unfortunately it breaks up some of RA’s early momentum
