She was damn good on Deadwood. She could definitely pull off Star Wars.

Though, honestly, and I think I said this years ago... I think she would make a better live-action Hera. But I'll take Ahsoka. One of my favorite actors playing my all time favorite character?! Please and thank you.

The GoT dudes just signed a mega deal with Netflix. As such, they've "pulled back" on their SW commitment. There as a big article about it that I posted a few months ago. It went under the radar because of all the other news breaking at the time. They've gone from producing/writing/possibly directing a trilogy of SW films to just doing a treatment for one film. It's entirely possible that Feige is connected to that and maybe taking over for them as they step back.

Rian's trilogy is still up in the air. He says he's working on it but there hasn't been much movement. The expectation is that the next theatrically released SW film will be the Dan & Dave (GoT guys) movie in 2022. But we don't know that for sure.

No way you can keep quality up with that kind of output.

As of right now the only SW feature films announced are in '22, '24, & '26. As of right now that's still the plan. One every 2 years starting 3 years from now.

That's not that much.
