I’ll post more later, but that was probably the tightest the band has ever sounded any time I’ve heard them. No Ed fuck ups that I recall.

Ed did say this is their last show for the “foreseeable future”.

Chances increasing that Bammer was right:

It's apparent that, for all intents and purposes, this was the last Pearl Jam show.

They may so some one off appearances here and there, but this is basically it.

The behind-the-scenes drama is too big to ignore at this point. The show (and entire tour) had a sense of finality about it.

It's been a hell of a ride, but it's time to get off.

Lots of drama in here.

They’ll be playing more shows in Feb or March.

Yeah, maybe there was a lot of drama behind the scenes on RM, but the band always seemed in good spirits despite the fact that there were health issues on both the spring and European tours. They got through the second leg without any interruptions. We some wild imaginations in this space.

Been a good run, folks. I'm gonna lock up the forum.
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

You can deny it all you want, but Pearl Jam are finished. I thought Eddie's comments made that quite clear.

More likely they spend the next few months finishing that album they’ve been talking about and build a smaller tour around its release. In the interim, we’ll possibly get some more Earthlings dates or something to hold Eddie over. That’s at least what they are set up for.

I don’t think they are done touring, but I do think they will not have massively long tours. I am sure they each make enough money on tour that it will be worth their while.

Nah. It's done. It was a great ride, but all good things must come to an end. The Pearl Jam as you know it ended in September 2022.

Eddie could get another tour or two out of the those HOKAs. Let’s be real.

Wait, I thought the band was done after Ed lost his voice this summer?

I'm hearing Matt Pinfield will host a 1 hour network tv special looking back at the life and times of Pearl Jam.

No, they were done when they put Parting Ways as the last song on Binaural...
I mean, when they put The End as the last song on Backspacer...

It was a fantastic show. Some of the middle of the set was a little up and down in terms of the songs but had a great time all the way through.

Who Ever Said rips live. About 2/3 of the way through the song, someone passed out in the pit and Ed stopped the song to get him medical attention. As soon as that guy was okay and taken away, they literally picked up right where they stopped. It was pretty impressive.

I was concerned about Ed’s voice with how he lost it months ago but he sounded tremendous to me. McCready was going off all night long. Ed talked about how tough the tour was with Covid on the group and crew.

Some other song highlights were Throw Your Hatred Down, Faithful, Save You, and RVM. I haven’t really liked RVM live much since like 2006 but it sounded great last night.

The band left Ed all alone after Thin Air and I thought we might get the Comes Then Goes debut, but didn’t happen.

Overall, fantastic show. Think it was my sixth time seeing them and it was easily the tightest they’ve sounded. The shorter shows and shorter tour might play a big role in that.
