Give me a Binaural rock song any day of the week, vs punky songs like Comatose or Mind Your Manners. Would love a few more Binaural like rock songs.

I could go for a rocker like Hail, Hail.

The more this album comes closer to No Code, the better. :D

I fucking love Hail Hail. Forget the face melting solo and give me a rocker like Hail Hail with a bridge section to match.

my favourite moment of S/T is the "Life Wasted" bridge; solos are fine but can we have an awesome bridge first please, and a pleasing song around it

I think if there are any "fun" throwaway rockers, "Get Right" would be a good model, and NOT "Supersonic"

I have never ever agreed more with verb on anything than this sentence. Fantastic! :hooray:

What's the current over/under on the odds this song is about Ed's wife's that time of the month?

I think it’s time PJ did a Sabbath Metal Type song. The closest they got was the bridge to Supersonic or maybe the dirge like ending to Habit.

Jeff Stone and Mike all have cited metal artists as influences but they’ve never really sonically explored it in Pearl Jam.

The bridge to Severed Hand is one of the finest parts in the catalog

it was so shitty that PJ teased the bridge of Supersonic before LB came out lol, it's the only part of the song that isn't embarrassing

I'd be super down for some more metal influence in a PJ song.

KidC described Superblood Wolfmoon as "Save You meets The Getaway"

That's promising in that Save You has a crunchy heavy riff, versus The Getaway that has a somewhat catchy/poppy vocal line but it's let down by weak instrumentation. Something heavier like Save You, I'm in for that.

And yeah , hope it has a good bridge. The bridges on Life Wasted, Comatose and Severed Hand are really fucking good. For all the things PJ does, they really do bridges well.
