I knew this reminded me of something non-PJ!
the Across a Wire: live in New York City version of Counting Crows' "Have You Seen Me Lately?"
I don't know how to link it

I did not have high hopes when I read this was a 6 minute Eddie solo acoustic track.
Pleasantly surprised... this is a standout track for me.

The first thing that hit me about this one is Ed going all acoustic Led Zep in this one. Such a great recording. Can finally hear the strings.
Having trouble placing which Zep song - Bron-Y-Aur Stomp?

i agree with this. I thought it was going to be The End or something like that, and its just so good. It has a Hold On acoustic feeling too..

I really like this one. Damn. There's such an in-room feel and brightness to it. It's about time.

the only way i can describe this song is if i was at an ed solo show and he played this song exactly the same way it appears on the album, i would be thinking "this is nice, and i can't wait to hear what the full band does with this song."

This seems like one that could catch on with the casual population.

this is the song about Chris and it's heart-wrenching. hands down best lyrics on the album.

it's 6 minutes of a space I want to stay in. i lose sense of time with that perfectly mic'd vox/guitar combo.
it's a warm, plain acknowledgement of something ephemeral but final.

It really doesn't feel like six minutes. I listened to it while shoveling this morning and it was beautiful.

our friend Vicky...
High or low, try again
She fell off the altar
A vision you caught her but then
A woodcut in red
I wish it was not you that she had led
Selfish navigation with no end
