Ed said the band were never close to breaking up. He felt they were rock solid throughout.

I think the questions asked are decent. But he's not really getting anything special out of Ed or Jeff. All the answers are fairly safe and general. Kind of a cosy conversation if you like listening to stuff like that.

the question about sequencing was a good one. unfortunately ed’s answer made absolutely no sense. he started taking about baseball scorecards??

When talking about getting hit in the head with change at a show and bill saying it lit a fire under him and made the show extra.

Ed goes
‘That was a dime well spent’

Finished listening to the whole show. Not often I listen to podcasts. It was ok.

Nice to hear Jeff give Dublin band Fontaines d.c. a shout out.
They’re kind of a big punk rock sound but interesting.
Not my jam but they’re great and on the rise

My favorite parts:

When Ed talked about his friendships with people in Seattle-bands, like Mudhoney and Kim Thayil.

When Jeff talked about Matt Cameron joining the band, and how ten shows in, he felt like he was on a honeymoonm, because he was so happy, and felt the band was better than ever.

Jeff also talked about how Mudhoney, The Melvins and even Soundgarden should have been bigger than they were.

Stone's episodes would be fantastic. His Vs walkthrough is the best pod I've heard this past year.

Sorry if posted already but here is the "evolution" performance in Buenos Aires Jeff referenced. Dope.
