Sometimes I wonder. This currently sits at #6 for me. That spot is something I am very happy with given their recent output and by recent I mean the last 2 decades.

My PJ rankings change all the time but both Vs and No Code maintain their status as the two favorites from the band. Can Gigaton with time be numer 3 or 4? I think sure. It has a lot of great qualities to be on that spot.

I can only speak for myself. I never suggested that I am unable to entertain the idea. Of course I do. I've been here long enough. Self Titled was so great because after Binaural and Riot Act....it felt like a shot of adrenaline that the fan base and the band needed. Subsequent tour was incredible.

It felt like such a "big" record at the time with the new record deal, massive marketing push, and worldwide tour. But yeah, it hasn't aged well, due to the lyrical content, downtuning when being played live, and horrible production. A shame too, because the songwriting is very strong for the first 2/3 of the album.

Confident that this would never surpass the first 5, is better than the last 3, and probably on par with 6 & 7. Which I think is a really good thing for a band in their 30th year.
