I’d really like more backstory on the Winnebago. Was it purchased for the sole purpose of wooing potential cocktail guests?

Watched the first two episodes of The Third Day. It's super strange and I'm really digging it, so far.

Glad this was only a 6 ep miniseries. I liked it myself, and agree it's super strange (it doesn't let up in that regard), but any longer and it would've been too much, I think.epilogue wrote:Watched the first two episodes of The Third Day. It's super strange and I'm really digging it, so far.

I haven't even seen the whole thing but I already agree with you.Rob wrote:Glad this was only a 6 ep miniseries. My wife and I started the first episode of The Third Day last night. She was half paying attention to it at first. The second time Jude Law's character sees that orange cicada and those other bugs come crawling out of its belly, my wife turned to me and said, this guy has definitely done something terrible, and he imagines some of these things.
I do like the way it's shot though where things are blurred in and out.

We have two episodes left. I've really liked it overall. It's not perfect. But it's so weird and interesting.dad wrote:My wife and I started the first episode of The Third Day last night. Hope you two post when you're done. It's a well done show. Not for everyone, I suppose. I almost moved on to something else after 3 eps, but I'm glad I didn't. I was satisfied at the end. As stated - not perfect, but definitely interesting.epilogue wrote:We have two episodes left. I've really liked it overall. It's not perfect. I expect we'll finish the last two episodes tonight.

Re: It's Not HBO, It's HBO MAX (j/k it's HBO)
Strange and uneven. But bold and interesting. At times it was too repetitive. At times there wasn't enough information given. The visuals were wonderful. Great tone. Great pacing. The cast shines. Good ending. Engaging journey.
Overall, I really enjoyed The Third Day. Though, it's super flawed, I really applaud the big swing. I think I'll continue to like it more as time goes on, as I think more about the stuff that really worked and forget some of the stuff that didn't (and ultimately doesn't matter).

Just finished The Bee Gees documentary. At the end, speaking about having lost all his brothers, Barry says, “I’d rather have them all back here and no hits at all.”

Watched the first season of The Flight Attendant. I'd like to check out the book now to see how much it differs from the series, and what would prompt a second season. I really liked it riiiiiight up to the end. I mean, it definitely left some things unanswered, but I'm not sure what else they could do with Cuoco's character.
Anyone else watch this?

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it.
