Good thing, too, because my nephew was correct that the movie would make little sense to me had I not been familiar with the series.
In a similar vein, should I read the plot summary of Loki before seeing this movie? Should I wait for my nephew to see it first and then solicit his advice?
Go in blind and complain the whole time about how it doesn't make sense.

your newphew knows best. Watch Loki.
It seems if you watch Loki you dont need to see this one so.

maybe in the multiverse there is an argo who really likes it
its actually not bad, i would say its the best stuff Marvel did for tv and this phase along with WandaVision

Honestly WandaVision is very good. Probably my favorite thing Marvel has done that isn't directed by James Gunn. I think I watched Loki but it must've not made much of an impression 'cause I barely remember any of it

I really liked WandaVision up to the last episode. It wasn't a deal breaker but it was a let down. I watched most of the other stuff but after She-Hulk I felt like I gave these TV shows a more than fair chance I think I'm done. I'll prob see Antman cause I have kids but I'm mostly done with the MCU its enough already. The last Thor really killed it for me.

The two Spider-Man movies are the only post-Endgame MCU movies worth the time. The others are either tedious (BP2), offensively bad (Thor4), or only worth looking at if you are very sick or are babysitting an eight year old and need to kill time

if you're going to see this movie, watch Dr. Strange and the Multiverse of Madness as well as the Loki series. That'll explain all the multiverse stuff that's comin in the next few years.

I haven't seen any of the tv shows and I wasn't confused by Dr. Strange 2. Wanda was in some weird magic world, she had kids and they died or whatever. That's all you really need to know. What's so confusing about it?

Maybe if you jump from Endgame to Dr Strange 2 you could raise some questions about her.

Early reports are that the movie is a bit all over the place but Majors' portrayal of Kang is incredible.

Damn, even the putrid Thor: Love and Thunder managed to avoid this. It'll still make a bazillion dollars though
