The first ep was misguided. If I’m listening to a Pearl Jam podcast in 2021, I know all this shit already. Still, the first few minutes where she talked about being mesmerized by the Even Flow video was exactly how it was for me.

I’ve only listened to the newest episode (“the best songs on ten aren’t…”) but I enjoyed that quite a bit.

It’s better. Could have done without the Mamasan story for the millionth time, but the album mixer’s sound bytes were good. I especially loved the point about how Garden was really an indication of where this band was heading. So true.

Although honestly as embarrassing a f*ck up as that would be, i'd still prefer that over Ed thinking there was a need to re-record Release a third time.
