Anyone else feel like the news outlets have already begun normalizing Trump? The reactionary headlines and op-eds seem to be dying down, and things are starting to read as more conventionally partisan.

The news outlets normalized Trump for most of the year and a half of his campaign until about a month before the election when they realized he might actually win and then flailed wildly in the other direction trying to save themselves from blame.

There is reason to be more afraid of him now. We are headed to an inevitable clash of two bullheaded alpha males who will disagree and then come to blows.
Diplomacy is an unknown and irrelevant concept to Trump. Putin has only shown the vauguest acknowledgment of it. We are all in trouble.
