How many rounds? And kickers are being picked before the 12th? And you drafted two of them?
16 rounds. 2 Kickers, 2 QBs & 2 DST. Only start one each but must carry two. I knew I could pick up a QB playing on Brady's bye week on the wrap around so I grabbed Walsh a round earlier than I normally dip into K/DSTs.
RBs & WRs went faster than usual. Nearly everyone waited on a QB later than they normally do.

Well, if you were going to get a kicker I'd want Walsh myself. Ten 50+ yard boots last year.

An auto drafter helped me out alot. He auto drafted Peyton manning and Rodgers in the 2nd and 3rd rounds and caused a qb panic. Nabbed rg3 in the 6th just missing romo.

I nabbed Seattle and Gostkowski early 10/12th . At that point I was just looking fr lottery tickets.

My auction team

Cam newton 3
Sam Bedford 1
Fitzgerald 31
Brandon Marshall 40
Hakeem nicks 11
Josh Gordon 3
Kenny britt 5
Doug Martin 56
Matt forte 34
Geovani Bernard 1
Share vereen 1
Jermichael finley 7
Tyler eifert 1
Blair Walsh 1
Janikowski 1
Cleveland d 1
Tampa bay d 1
James laurinitus 1
Brian cushing 1

200 budget, 9 teams and my first 4 players (Martin, fitz, Marshall and forte) cost me 161, so i was pretty poor a few rounds in, but i had budgeted 175 for those 4 players so i did have 14 more then i expected and that helped me get nicks and finley. The defenses went quick and i didn't have the money to pay more then 1 per, so i hope Tampa is greatly improved and Cleveland is decent

Dropped Martellus Bennett and picked up Jared Cook already.
Not that confident in my RBs. Having second thoughts on Trent Richardson as my top pick since it came down to him or Ray Rice; I can't explain how Rice fell that far or why I didn't snag him. If if Shane Vereen can put up RB2 numbers I should be okay.

I think the Browns are stronger this year. I'm a believer in Weedon. So I like Richardson too. Over Rice? Eh, we'll see. Picking up Jared Cook was a good idea, mainly because I have him too. But Vereen putting up RB2 caliber numbers? He's a good pass-catch running back, but you do know they have Ridley starting, right?

Yeah I know. RBs were already getting skimpy and my thinking was Vereen could see more playing until Gronk comes back. Mark Ingram has looked okay in the preseason and might not be a bench guy if you're to believe Payton wanting to run the ball more. Besides, after the first few games plans always change.

if he can stay healthy. that was my only worry, but RB is SO thin this year that youve gotta try someone with an injury risk. i got doug martin for $56 in my auction draft, and had to pay $34 for Forte who still has injury issues, but T rich went for $50, spiller for $54, L. Mccoy for $51 and Jamal Charles for $49 because there is no one that isnt risky

Auction league, $270 cap, up to 3 keepers (cap hit goes up by $5 from last year's), and our defensive scoring is quite unique: what your defense lets up for points comes off your score (you do get credit for defensive TDs, safeties, and KR/PR TDs)...also, roster is set so we have to have 2 kickers and 2 defenses, with 1 extra at any position of our choosing...league has been going since 1991 (I joined around 95/96) and everyone seems pretty happy with these rules (very few changes have happened)...PPR plus 1/2 pt for completions for QBs

P Manning $42
J Flacco $1

Jamaal Charles $52 (keeper)
CJ Spiller $6 (keeper)
Shane Vereen $3
Ben Tate $1

AJ Green $14 (keeper)
TY Hilton $14
James Jones $15
Hakeem Nicks $30

Jason Witten $33
Antonio Gates $3

Mike Nugent $1
Greg? Zuerlein $2

Cincinnati D $24
Houston D $22

how many teams in the league?
starting 3 RBs, 4WRs and 2 TEs should have free agency pretty thin

Yea its only an 8eam league, my commissioner likes this format for some reason, its been the same way since '05...It used to be a keeper league until a few years ago....my other league is only 2 rb, 3 wr, 1 te and a flex but I haven't drafted that team yet

I hate 8 man because they get so stacked like that.
Drafted for a new keeper league today:
QB RGIII
RB Jamaal Charles
RB Lesean McCoy
WR Andre Johnson
WR Jordy Nelson
Flex Eddie Lacy
TE Jared Cook
K Randy Bullock
DST Ravens

Bench
RB Darren Sproles
RB Mark Ingram
RB Bryce Brown
WR Antonio Brown
WR DeAndre Hopkins
WR Kenbrell Thompkins
QB Ben Roethlisberger

Had Charles drop to me at 9 with shady right around the corner. Need bounce back years from my WRs though.
