I personally prefer the Sony promo but it's up to your own tastes. I find the sony promos for both Atlanta and Melbourne to be a bit crisper and stripped back with better separation of instruments/vocals. The remasters were admittedly trying to make them sound like the official boots which are a bit 'warmer' I guess, for want of a better word.blackholesun85 wrote:Does anybody know if the ridley remaster of 1995-03-17 melbourne sounds better than the rarified & live promo release?
What cover of Old Man?E.H. Ruddock wrote:Was watching a YouTube video of the full concert of 6/20/1995 in Morrison, CO. I wanted to see their cover of "Old Man". That song was cut out of the video. :/

Absolutely no clue other than "thanks10c!"E.H. Ruddock wrote:Why is it listed on the official setlist then? Right after SOLAT?
But please look on the PJ website and tell me I'm not crazy!Strat wrote:Absolutely no clue other than "thanks10c!"E.H. Ruddock wrote:Why is it listed on the official setlist then? Right after SOLAT?

I just double checked and there is nothing about old man.

The setlists and lyrics on the official website are an embarrassing mess.E.H. Ruddock wrote:No, I believe you, I just wanted to make sure I wasn't seeing things.Strat wrote:I saw that! Not that I've ever heard, but I haven't heard everything. Not even close. Maybe they performed a snippet of it or as a tag during Daughter? Their website's Tour History is an unruly mess ..E.H. I thought this was common knowledge by now....Birds in Hell wrote: The setlists and lyrics on the official website are an embarrassing mess.
Yeah I just found it odd that it was listed on the show setlist as well as the songs played by the band list. I also find it surprising that all the crazy fans on the Pit haven't had it corrected by nowWendy Carlos's Twin wrote:I thought this was common knowledge by now....Birds in Hell wrote: The setlists and lyrics on the official website are an embarrassing mess.
Many of the "covers" listed on the songlist are brief references if anything.
I always forget that the Pit exists until you mention it again.E.H. Ruddock wrote:Yeah I just found it odd that it was listed on the show setlist as well as the songs played by the band list. They're certainly crazy but i think you're overestimating the knowledge they have about the band's actual music. It all seems largely OMG EDDIE, merch, vinyl, posters, etc.E.H.
