yeah, Solo was good. The funniest since the original movie.

BUT THIS THREAD IS FOR EMBARRASSING MOMENTS OF THE SEQUEL TRILOGY GUYS

I would love to see the other version of Solo.

I think the quicksand scene + Blade of Ochi are the only embarrassing parts. There are plenty of shitty moments, but I wouldn't say they were embarrassing.

i loved that moment with her fighting with Kylo and she had enough of this Finn guy and just force push him into oblivion...like, ¨jesus man im not going to fuck you im sorry i kinda thought that for a moment in the first movie!! that was before i met this super sexy really toxic bad guy¨

I wonder if the sequels and prequels would have both benefitted from an alternate history where 1997 George makes a sequel trilogy, and JJ “Disney” Abrams helms the historical story set.

George surrounded by yes-people is a problem regardless, but working with known characters and not having to write backwards from a foregone conclusion would have to be better for him than imagining the specifics and collapse of an idyllic prehistory. Also, we could have seen our heroes in late middle age instead of retirement age, and those actors had a grip and confidence in their portrayals that no amount of sleepy green screen direction could obliterate.

Meanwhile, JJ is far better at admiring and serving an idea than creating something of his own. He probably COULD have told a prequel tale better than he could tell…uh…anything else?
