I also think you overstate the life of luxury. I certainly would not want to be a monarch. No privacy, everybody in the world recognizes you so you couldn't really go out in the public at all, lots of boring ceremonial duties. In a way the queen is a prisoner of the state.

Simple brain. Boo hoo I can't go outdoors, it's so hard never having to labor a day in my life because of the fake job I was born into and can never lose. Next week I have to wear the royal blood diamonds to the Exterminate the Brutes jubilee.

Also there was a whole thing a few years back about how unspeakably racist the royal family is.
