Just got back from the theater. LOVED it. Maybe you guys should just go take a break from movies for a while.

He’s not wrong. It was fan service that never pretended it wasn’t. I don’t think that’s a bad thing either, but let’s not pretend the middle part was anything but playing with your old action figures. I thought it was very good at being that along with a nice homage to the Fox studios run of marvel

In an embarrassing stat, this movie has already made more than the entire run of The Marvels movie.

i liked all the variant wolverines they showed and got a good chuckle out of comics accurate wolverine as well as AoA wolverine

the story line was very predictable with no surprises and the happy ending was just that. i still love Reynolds as Wade but everything just felt like a rehash of the past two deadpool movies. start off with the middle of the movie, wade explains you need to go back to the beginning which he then explains along the way and then you rejoin the action you previously left.

the other 4 rebels were a bit of an odd selection. channing is just to bulky to play remy. jennifer garner still looked the part. evans i think just did this to be able to go off on a swear tangent. blade looked old. and for someone who is a vampire and damn near immortal that doesnt make sense. daphne looked like she was ready for her own X23 spinoff

the mutant cameos were not bad but could of used more of them using their powers so you could see who they were. the big wolverine/sabertooth fight was over in a blink.

8 / 10 (I'm easily amused/entertained)
For a movie [or "fan service"] with so much exposition, it literally mocks itself about it, it's a very cool/fun watch.
I'd watch it again.

Well it’s not good at all, which I was expecting. Reynolds is insufferable but also the Deadpool character is so i guess he was good then. Jackman is a great actor. I liked that bald villain and X23 should have her own movie.
Besides that very shitty action scenes proving again that Shawn Levy is godawful and fuckiing trash.

So Deadpool and Wolverine get to live and that timeline is alive then. Hugh will come back again I guess?

Come on, you didn't have any fun at all?

The only fun I had was watching old characters appear here and there. That was cool. But as for Deadpool comedy I thought it was very tired and old. To hear a pop song from the 90s or 2000s while he is killing people in a very lame action sequence…I found it boring and a little sad.

I'm sure I'll be panned for this opinion, but I would have liked more cameos. Like twice as many.

Agree. Double the number of Void cameos. Add Taylor Kitsch as a second Gambit! Add Mahersala Ali as himself! I would kill to see a legit Archangel (my favorite X-man).

I love the idea of Cavill showing up as Superman, though that would never have happened for legal reasons.

I kinda wonder if a movie like this will hasten the demise of the comic book movie. It's hard to take Marvel seriously after Marvel shits on itself.

It’s the third Deadpool movie even if it’s the first with Marvel; so nobody is gonna care about it.

The first two could have also been a factor, and this one is coming at a time when the future of Marvel movies are very much in doubt.
