We’re under a heat advisory until Friday and the TVA is requesting everyone set their thermostats to 78 or higher. It was up to 99 here yesterday and the air is so thick you can stir it.

Might hit 100 today, it’s been a few summers (2019) since that has happened.
Next week looks just as hot.

At 10pm it’s 79°, the heat index is 86, humidity 92% and dew point 76.
It’s fucking miserable.

Got to 99 last week, might hit 100 a couple times this week.
A lot less humid this week though; we had some pretty good storms on Wednesday and Thursday.

Peaked at 98 this week. Admittedly hot but not unheard of for the back half of June.

The skies are clearing after some morning showers; should be a beautiful weekend. While most of country has had a hot & dry summer the past six weeks have been hot but not unusually hot. It has been muggier than usual though with thunderstorms almost daily. It’s like a rain forest; everything is super green here.

It’s amazing how the weather changed pretty much when autumn started on the calendar. It’s been low-to-mid 70s or cooler every day since with nights in the 40s-50s.
God I love fall.

Supposed to drop 25 degrees tomorrow. Guess we're skipping fall.
