There are any number of organizations here in Seattle with a mission statement to “end” homelessness.
Unpopular opinion: Is it just me or is that a totally unrealistic goal? I mean the situation can absolutely be improved. A lot. But to bring it to an “end”? It seems not only unrealistic but even irresponsible to purport to be able to do that.

In any case, imagine soliciting donations for your non-profit while saying "look we're not really going to solve this problem we're just going to make it marginally less bad."
