Take the Dave A shit elsewhere. This is supposed to be a 'safe place' for discussion and appreciation of Jeremy Irons.

Trombone Shorty is the tits. Really great stuff.

He was also the teacher in the Peanuts movie last year.

I've not seen all his films, but he's awesome in the Lion King.

Seriously. Think about the breath of fresh air it would be for the band right now. They'd be forced to play off of him because his style is so distinct.

I've lost interest in pretty much all post-Irons Pearl Jam at this point.

Let Matt go do an album/tour cycle with SG, and Jack can come in and do the same with PJ

I'd love to see Jack come back, if anything maybe just to guest drum on one song. Maybe a collaboration where Matt writes the number and plays guitar, while Jack drums.

My wife picked up the Pearl Jam Rolling Stone feature issue for me at the store and reading through it really put me in the mood to listen. Right now I have Ridley's B-sides comp playing and the Barcelona version of "Smile" is on. I want this show as a Vault release so bad. I'm glad they're finally representing Jack in the series with Soldier Field, but I'm completely unenthused about the selection -- gimme some '96 or March '98, let some of the material he really put his stamp on find its way into the mix.

Now "Happy When I'm Crying" is on. Hell yeah I'm on Team #BringBackJack

This was a short but sweet post, that I agree with. I should look for that Rolling Stone issue, hopefully I can get it here.

I love Jack's playing. First thing that jumps to mind for me is the way he delivers his awesome beat in the chorus of Blood.

I feel like listening to Pearl Jam today. What's a good quality Jack-era show?
