More videos released this morning, including a flyover of the major metro area and a clip of the leaker shooting the outline of their username into the side of a building. Sure makes it seem like they have a playable build and not just clips they lifted from somewhere.

I genuinely don't understand the continued popularity of this franchise. What's the market segment look like? 40- and 50-year old long-time GTA players who are still dedicated to the core gameplay loop? Or have they all aged out, but now they're pulling in a whole new customer base?

It's an open world where you can do anything and everything you want to in a world that's highly detailed and made by a company that has an endless budget. Pretty straightforward. They usually have pretty good stories too. The addition of online to last game just made it a monster. I'm more of a Red Dead person but think it's pretty easy to see why GTA is popular.

Almost every aspect of the game will be incredibly detailed and refined. Even if you're not into the general lawlessness, there is still a lot to enjoy about these games.

Sounds like trag isn't enlisting into the army for those sweet GTA bonuses.

Honestly I hate most open-world games.

Yeah I just don't like how it makes me feel to role play as a degenerate piece of shit. But I sure do enjoy myself a state of the art video game.

I haven't been a Netflix subscriber in many years. Happy to wait 6 hours to see what this game is all about.

Here’s a tweet aggregating impressions from critics who have played about three hours of the game. I like a lot of what’s listed here.

The video actually sold me on it because it does seem to be using some Red Dead realism a bit.
Also, can’t imagine how much shit will be in it. People are still finding new stuff in RDR2.
