The cover looks hand paintedcutuphalfdead wrote:I've looked at the packaging. What about it is so special and hand made? It looks like a pretty standard gatefold LP package to me.
I'm pretty sure it is why. I think they posted something on the PJ site stating the records aren't available until they fix the manufacturing problems. I'd say they're all made at the same place, so yours could be dodgy.bodysnatcher wrote:Is all of this the reason that LB vinyl isn't available on 10c's site anymore? I bought mine in-store, but haven't opened it. I wonder if all in-stores are tainted? Debating whether to get a second

Once I get my original - I'll let you knowDr. Van Nostrand wrote:How long is it taking for the replacements to arrive ?
Im sorry it has taken so long, its terrible to say, but you should email the company and tell them you have a defect and see if it shows up before your original copy doesRangi Guy wrote:Once I get my original - I'll let you knowDr. Van Nostrand wrote:How long is it taking for the replacements to arrive ?
Believe me - I'm pretty much at that point at the moment. Might give it one more day as I'd still feel like a bit of a prick doing thatDr. Van Nostrand wrote:Im sorry it has taken so long, its terrible to say, but you should email the company and tell them you have a defect and see if it shows up before your original copy doesRangi Guy wrote:Once I get my original - I'll let you knowDr. Van Nostrand wrote:How long is it taking for the replacements to arrive ?
they may ask for pictures, fyi. i had to submit photos. but if you just note issues about the sound (pops, skips, low volume) and NOT the visual condition of the record or sleeves, you might be ok.Rangi Guy wrote:Believe me - I'm pretty much at that point at the moment. Mine took less then a weekVinylGuy wrote:Listening to the replacement today, and sounds awesome.
Very quick deliver too.
I paid for a record. I now have two, one of which has a minor tear in the sleeve, and I'll give that one to a friend.veddar10 wrote:The replacement vinyls sound great. Does anyone know if the ones they did for replacement are any different from new ones that are coming out? Like any different etchings? Even though they fixed it with new copies I still feel ripped off. The damaged arrived over two weeks late for most people. I ordered two both very damaged. They sent me only one replacement at first then I had to go through the process again to get a second replacement. Just a huge pain in the ass. I feel like they should at the very least credited the shipping charges back to everyone. I have to make the call at my job to eat costs like this sometimes even when the mistake is out of our companies control. It is just the cost of doing business. I guess customer service really is not a priority over at the Ten Club.
