I wonder if the music is just an annoying distraction for some of the people at this point.
I have no interest in being up close at any of their shows any more because after doing it once, and basically not hearing the band at all, i have little interest in repeating that particular experience. Not that i had anybody particularly annoying around me but still if i'm going to a show once every couple of years or so i want to at least be able to hear the band.
this is part of why i'll probably never attend a PJ show again. crowd participation gone too far.
Out of anyone you should know how to handle a rowdy crowd.

I hope when they got to the bridge, he jumped up out of his seat and did this...

More from this saga.....
I was out at lunch today and this gal saw me wearing my tour shirt and we started talking. Turns out, she was on the floor and in the middle of all that crap.
What she told me was there were two women... a young one and an older one. The older one was pushing people away to get the younger one to the railling. The young one was apparently going to pass out and needed to get out of the pit. When they got to the front so the security guards in the photographers pit could reach her and get her out... the 2 women backed up, out of the reach of the guards. The younger one said she was fine now and didn't need to get out. She was pretending to be in distress in order to get through the crowd.
That is when people started getting pissed. The guards could not reach them to pull them over the fence because they had backed up, out of their reach. People were trying to shove them back to where they came from and the 2 put up a fight.
That is why pearl jam security had to go around to ge them out.

this adds up, as ed did acknowledge a dispute and not having time to settle it. he simply exercised the bros before hos code.

If anyone involved in this saga was a dude trying to dress like Ed or wearing a custom made sports jersey with "VEDDER 10" on the back of it, I am automatically assuming it was all his fault.

Wow! How big was the pit in LA? In Charlotte, I'd be surprised if it was 20 feet deep. If someone came up and said they had to get out, I'd say "fuck you, step back 3 feet, and you're free!" Shit people were leaving and getting beers.
Californians are dicks.

it looked from a picture before the show started like it went back to a few rows from the sound and light board, it was huge
