I think the Ed is a dick stuff seems pretty overblown in the RR thread, and think this is pretty shitty.

There were some very spirited defenses of the mosquito bites rant on here not too far back. Turns out Ed was being heroic or something like that. Or that anyone in his position would have done the exact same thing. Or something...

really the only appropriate reaction for most of these things is what Iceagecoming said at some point. That if you stick a mic in someone's face night after night for two decades they will say some mean things sometimes, and be a dick sometimes, and most of the time they won't be.

Most of the defenses, not surprisingly, were super misogynistic if I remember.

I can tell you from experience that sometimes musicians can be very hard to deal with, but will always be there when you really need them. I learned that after my wife died, leaving me alone with my 3 daughters, and I had a couple good friends who helped get me through.
