That would explain why every time I play the Bill Callahan record, everyone in my house mistakes him for Eddie Vedder.

Oh, here, this'll do.

1. My Bloody Valentine - ‘mbv’
2. The Flaming Lips - ‘The Terror’
3. Tim Hecker - ‘Virgins’
4. Secret Pyramid - ‘Movements of Night’
5. Wreckmeister Harmonies - ‘You’ve Always Meant So Much to Me’
6. Atoms For Peace - ‘AMOK'
7. Whores. - ‘Clean’
8. Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds - ‘Push the Sky Away'
9. Monster Magnet - ‘Last Patrol’
10. Big Business - ‘Battlefields Forever'

I feel like I listened to a lot of records this year but not many really stuck with me; many I've liked, few I've really loved. Anyway, there's a list of some of them. That Mogwai soundtrack was really good and honourable mentions to Chelsea Wolfe, Earthless, Lee Ranaldo, Vista Chino, Noveller, Tumbleweed Dealer and Polvo.
