The rapport between Cornel West and Bill Maher is always adorable.

Cornel West is one of my favorite crackpots.
As mentioned above the Lesser of Two Evils was among the best ending monologues this season.

I'm a little surprised Bill's use of the N word is that big of a story. It was an awkward, spur of the moment ad lib that fell flat but not meant to be incendiary. It's certainly not the same as Kathy Griffin kicking a hornet nest with her publicity stunt gone wrong.

I have a hard time listening to black rappers school white people on how they are not allowed to use the "N" word EVER. It reeks of censorship and entitlement. If you really want to "take that word back", then strip it of its power...don't dictate who can and cannot use it.

I agree. Its really weird to hear them saying ¨ you cant say it¨ wtf? Bill Maher? Weird.

I mean just saying it is not ILLEGAL. You technically can.

Apparently I'm the crazy one but being able to say the N word is not a hill I'm willing to die on.

I mean, why would a white person want to say the word? Even if black people came out with a statement saying that "all white people can now say the n-word", would you feel comfortable standing in a room with only black people and saying it? I'm confused as to why any white dude would be upset because they "can't" use the word?

I also don't call women the b-word, and I don't bitch about that, either.
