There is nothing bland about Non Sate Actor..is such a great rock song, specially because Matt and Ben.

And Attrition is awesome.

i would say Taree is kinda bland or maybe Black Saturday.

Attrition is shit, no surprises it's the only song not credited in any way to Cornell

Yes, because that is the single determinant as to whether a Soundgarden song is good or not.

Attrition is fantastic. It's completely new territory for Soundgarden and they pulled it off completely as far as I'm concerned.

Live To Rise is a really great song. It doesn't get enough respect.

Attrition could have been more aggressive vocally and more raucous musically but I'm glad we have it. I want everything these guys will give us.

Attrition's lyrics are probably the best on the album. Like plenty of good punk songs, the song is really a vehicle for its lyrics.

I enjoy Halfway There for what it is, but I agree with your point. The HT demo was miles more interesting.

live to rise sucks. terrible terrible chorus.

I dunno, even if you like the lyrics the actual melody and delivery are pretty banal

i kinda forgot about Live to rise...in the context of King Animal being as good as it is, i like that song more...specially for the Thayil solo at the end.

Yep. But, that whole song is great. One of the real growers from the album. I especially love the last 1.5 minutes of it.

After all this months, im still listening to this one almost every day...the first 6 tracks are incredible...i cant seem to like Taree and Black Saturday and Worse Dreams are cool but not heavy enough for me.

Halfway There sucks.

I was listening every day till last month. I want to take a break for a while so I don't wear he album out and get sick of it.
