Željko Ivanek plays the same character in every single role he has, I'm not saying that is bad in fact it is spot on, just the way it happens to be.

Edit: Skitch, what was your take on OZ?

It's been said before, but Meldrick and Bayliss have grown so much in five seasons. Well, Bayliss has grown. Meldrick's character has developed. I imagine his growth occurred long ago.

What's going to happen with the Juliana Cox character? I don't trust her one bit, Skitch. Not one bit.

Also, I went to the Half Price Books that I found S5 at today to buy season 1 and 2. It was there the last time I went, and don't own it. When I went to pay, the cashier told me that since the box wasn't labelled with a reference number, he couldn't locate the discs. That sounded like hokum and laziness to me, so I cut my losses and ate lunch at a nice roadside diner (I had driven thirty minutes out of town to look for these DVDs.)

It is an absolute shame that Neil Patrick Harris's guest role on Homicide has been snubbed by the authors of his Wikipedia page as of the time stamp on this post.

I wondered if anyone would catch that. I knew it was a word I hadn't used a lot, but had used in my oz post, so it made the most sense (oz only being 2 letters was not searchable. )

Last night was Richard Belzers last regular appearance as Detective John Munch on SVU. And they actually did a lot of it right.

This is the extended version of what aired , but what aired also included Munch's Homicide Ex Wives and a line from none other than Meldrick Lewis.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/10/1 ... _hp_ref=tw

and the end of the episode featured him sitting down at his desk, and it flashed back to him alone as a younger detective with a scene from Homicide, the phone rings in the present and he answers the phone "homicide"

signs of a homicide reboot with Munch as captain?
