This seems to be the source of it. I'm assuming it was a joke, but it's a pretty fucking odd one. Then again, someone from RM is probably behind it.
Im halfway convinced thats an actual crazy stalker, ive seen that pop up in the comments of different youtube videos and various pearl jam related articles and what have you, usually sounding pretty angry/nutty in tone. Seems like alot of effort for a joke idk.
Whoever they are, they're persistent. I just came across it yet again a few days ago in an "Eddie Vedder Duets with Guy from Arcade Fire ZOMG!" article. Somewhere else, too...

I decided a long time ago that it's Stone. Fight the good fight, buddy.

the merch and the setlists are two completely separate things. setlists have always been unique. they didnt start selling everything they could till the weirdo side of the fan base started collecting posters like they were gold. sometime after 2000?

the setlist thing is great. the obsessive merch collection is nerdy and embarrassing. who the fuck bought a pearl jam dog collar? its like the ten club took that "off he goes condom" joke and ran with it, except its not a joke anymore.

I don't fucking care, $10 cheaper and that No Code collar would have been on my dog.

How many people have bought this collar before buying a dog, only so they could name it Lukin?

I avoid the merch myself, but it seems to make tons of people happy and adds to the "experience" of the concert for many fans, not unlike buying a program at a sporting event. I think it's great, it's just not for me (or you apparently).

Have You Seen This Stip?

He was last seen licking his balls outside a local community college.

If found, please do not ask him for his opinions on any music or movies. Owner will not be responsible for any lasting damage should this occur.

He may be returned to McParadigm's All Purpose Puppy Grinder across from the Village Inn.
