Holy fuck in the road! That may very well be the best Marvel movie to date!
Definitely see it in 3D. I can't imagine seeing it otherwise.

Yes sir! I'm by no means a fan of it. The last 3D film I saw was Avatar and before that was Jaws 3D. You gotta see this one in that format. No ifs, ands or buts.

Oh, and there's a tune in one of the opening scenes most everyone on this board should recognize. If you don't, then you have to turn in your RM card.

The gags with the beverage in the mid-credits scene made that one of my favorites in the MCU.

I thought it was a bit on the slow side, but over all, if you like MCU movies, you'll like this one.

Not one of my favorites, but very solid and enjoyable. I'd like to explore more of this side of the MCU. I do wonder how they'll integrate these sorts of stories and threats into the larger MCU

Wow just when I was ready to be a full on Marvel hater, I really enjoyed this one. It felt huge in a way that many shitty superhero movies try to be, but has an inventive quality that prevents it from devolving into moronic god-beings punching each other for eternity *cough*Dawn of Justice*cough*
It's a slow build, and is a pretty standard tale, but it's well constructed and fun to watch.
Kinda looking forward to Ragnarok now. I'm sure I'll be disappointed.

Anyone know Captain Marvel's origin story? There is a lot of speculation that the 22yo woman with a chip in her head hit by lightning (pitched to Dr. Strange in his car) was actually Carol Danvers.

She was caught in an explosion of a Kree device which melded her DNA with Captain Marvel. That gave her the same powers as Captain Marvel.
