No we don't.

Random 1st round byes work, and I have no problem with it. Do you?

I've already decided what I need to do, strategically, in the first round of the draft. After that, I'll simply be cherry-picking from my 30-song playlist. So much influential 90's music, it will be cool to see how this unfolds.

Too bad we can only pick one song from each artist, because LB and Korn are SO awesome...

"I did it all for the nookie/So you can take that cookie/and stick it up your a$$!"

Such an inspiring lyric!
I guess we could do byes, although it'd be cool if we could find a reason to give them instead of having them be random.
Like maybe if two of your teams have advanced to the big tournament.

Byes are cool by me. For sure it would be the only way I get through round the first in one of these things!

And why not on board posts? That stat has to be good for something.

One reasonable cut would be folks who have not voted in any of the previous tournaments.

If 21 is all we get it's simple....

First 11 get byes and 12-21 face each other in the first round. After the second round hits you have 16.

Yes, this is self-serving, but if we're gonna do byes, I'd like to suggest that three of the people who get byes are the winners of the 60s, 70s & 80s tournaments. And IF he isn't the winner of the 80s tournament, I think numbers deserves a bye.

The others can be random or whatever.

Every tournament is independent of the other

Byes are random, this has already been established.

Sure. Just since the whole point of these mini tournaments is leading toward a large finale tournament, I just thought I'd throw out that idea. I mean, teams are advancing from the decade tournaments into a larger tournament. So in this case they aren't at all independent from the others.

But, whatever. I don't give a good tin shit either way. Byes are random.

Moving on.

It's gonna be random but I suspect the odds will work out for numbers
