As much as I love August and Everything After I think Recovering the Satellites is a better album. In fact it's my favorite album. A few other Sophomore efforts I feel are better....

Their debut is still very good. It has a lot of punky energy and madcap originality. But Toxicity is next level for me. I think there's a discipline and focus to it that makes it much more resonant than the debut. The power, atmosphere, and sonic size of songs like "Toxicity" and "Chop Suey!" and "Needles" and "Aerials" well outdoes any song on the debut, in my opinion.
