It hasnt reached its peak profitability potential yet.
NC's 10th anniversary isn't for 2 more years

10th? If only. I want the last 10 years back.
Oh shit, math!

Maybe they'll wait for NC20.

Also, just looking at history, chances are we'll get a new reissue set before another new album (the Ten reissue came out between Avocado and Backspacer, the Vs/Vitalogy between Backspacer and Lightning Bolt). But it could still be years away, obviously.

You'll never get it, because the band completely buys into the idea that nobody liked anything they did between 1994 and 2006. Their career is pretty much like if Neil Young had made three or four slightly odd records, then spent 1977 onwards trying to remind people how much they liked that one record he did about having a heart of gold.

Sad but true

That's actually, uh, a really poignant and unfortunate point.

And so aggravating, as those are the years where the band was at their peak.

Well, I would say 94-about 04 was when the band was at the top of their game.

when i teach the difference between having an opinion and making an argument I usually center it around a discussion of dogs vs. cats

I can't remember how I stumbled upon that, but I wish I hadn't.
At least you were man enough to admit you clicked on it - unlike our dog-loving friends ^

The setlist doesn't excite me. I think I'll just pick up the CD. That's a lot to spend on a vinyl of a show that I don't really want.

Let's all dump ice water on ourselves until they release a Jack Irons show.

It is actually a really good show.
