Can we pick parks that are now gone, but were active in this time period?

I think we should say you just have to decide on a home park before the tournament starts. However, you can declare it/change it at any time before then, assuming no one else has it. Unless you and chud both wanted Fenway, I can't imagine we'll have any issues with people wanting the same park.

The site has a lot of defunct ballparks, but not all of them. As long as it has it, I'd say you can take it. Unless you guys want to limit it to parks that were used in this era. Or we can get nuts and have Albert Pujols playing in the Polo Grounds.

Parks should be in the same era as the players.

She was. We were probably soulmates. She was really pale and had jet black hair. It was love at first sight.
But honestly, the only thing I would marry for right now is money. Or a visa to live in another country.
I feel you re:money

Ok, so any park that was used at any point between 1995-2013.

For what it's worth, the site seems to insist all Dream Team match ups have the pitcher batting 9th.

I really don't know, I'll probably try to go with a park that's close to neutral.

Honestly, the parks that are defunct now but were used through the 90s suck for the most part.

Honestly, I plan on putting very little thought into this and I'm just gonna go with guys I like.

Yeah, outside of County Stadium and Tiger Stadium, there's not a lot there you hear people romanticizing.

This is gonna be my approach too. I'm surprised it's yours though. I figured you'd roll in with advanced stats and annihilate all of us.

It was the end of the cookie cutter sports complex age. Pretty much every park that was built in the late 90s or early 2000s was better than the park it replaced.

Yea, the stadiums built in the expansion era sucked.

If we get an eighth I'll randomly generate a draft order and we can pick.
Let's keep the time limit on picks short, ok? I mean, since there are 20 rounds. And try to be good about PMing picks if you're not around.

Short time limit is key to a successful draft.

I was gonna go with 2 hours. Is that too short?
