To stip's earlier point, though, the list of tunes above sure still gets me going when I hear them, there's not even one on that list that I complain about when i hear it played live.

Oh yeah. Now that you mention it, I own their Remain in Light concert. It wasn't awful...even kind of good for repeat listens...but it didn't make me want more of whatever it is they have to offer.

Because it's not very good. Whereas Avocado is kinda good, just poorly represented on the album.

Backspacer is basically 35 minutes of forgettable Pearl Jam. There's not a single moment on the album that is truly memorable.

I did.

Still don't think I'd call it a good song. However, the line "hoping that when she came she'd be coming just for me - ah yeah!" certainly is interesting, questionably memorable, but definitely interesting.
