I think (not sure) it is like a "John Connor succeeded but somehow the machines got back into the past to try and make events happen again" type of reboot.

From the trailer it kind of looks like some execs or whatever got together went 'People seemed to really like this scene in Terminator (whatever iteration), and this scene from this other Terminator film. Let's do like a mash up of people's favourite scenes - repackage it slightly and sell it back to them'

Some Arnold Terminator goes back to the 60's and raises Sarah Connor. That fucks everything up. Thus, this movie and the old Arnold Terminator.

I mean, I'll see it.

Not in theaters I wont but that trailer kind of cleared some shit up.

they should turn the franchise into the sci fi genre's version of the expendables. they already have arnold and dr who signed on; maybe get william riker and worf involved in the next one.

If they cast Jonathan Frakes in this I would be back on board.

I guess I'm disappointed mostly because I thought a sequel to the last one with Christian Bale in it could have been good. Was hoping for that.
