You know how sometimes you'll have kind of a hostile exchange with a poster and then you try to end it on an amicable/funny note but it's kind of awkward 'cause you're both still secretly seething?
That didn't happen here

I genuinely cannot stand LV. I find his self-importance to be loathsome. He'd record his own flatulence only to play it back and ponder its tonal intricacies. Completely incapable of dealing with an opposing view, he would have gall to say you're wrong about a film he's never seen -- because he has a podcast that 4 people listen to.
I would definitely punch him in the face.

Or maybe a pickaxe to the chest would be more in order.

Nothing I said was a reaction to your "opposing point of view." Opposing perspectives are welcome; in fact, the podcast you referred to is DEDICATED to opposing points of view.
What I find insufferable is your belligerent demeanor. That's what makes you impossible to talk to. Any genuine insight you may have to offer is buried under a barrage of juvenile hostility that I guess you think is funny or witty somehow? I would be more than happy to engage in an honest, thoughtful discussion with you if I thought you were open to or capable of it.

Your aloof, passive-aggression does not go unnoticed. You feel threatened by opposing views because you're "the movie guy". That's your thing. You don't even need to see a film to start the self-serving, contrarian commentary. See: self-importance.
