I heard them open with it like 4 times. Maybe that has a little to do with my lack of interest.

I'll actually be in St. Louis for this show! I just can't win. However, I'm kind of happy I don't have to spend $75 for a show on City Hall Plaza...that sounds awful.

Bastards!
I bet there will be a full tour swing after the album is released, starting at Barclays means another New York gig for the tour proper; though after selling five nights very well at the Beacon I don't know where that will be. I could see two nights at the Hammerstein (with Radio City already behind them).
The day my wife and I signed to own our house we scurried to hop a train toward New York City to see them in the Studio at Webster Hall, that was a grand fuckin' day.

You'll admit that Vanderlye is the weakest song on High Violet though, right?

No way is Vanderlyle the weakest track.

Dude has a surprisingly good yelling/screaming voice. And uses it the perfect amount / only when needed

I really hope these make the next record:
Pretty much everything they do these days is great.

I LOVE Vanderlyle. You people who don't like it are missing out.

1. High Violet
2. Alligator
3. Boxer
All three are amazing, but High Violet is doubly amazing.

High Violet is my favorite as well. There's not a weak track on it.

For me it goes in release order for all of their albums (and even the Cherry Tree EP). It's pretty amazing that they are getting better and better with each new release. If Alligator was their career high point it would still be quite an accomplishment.

I love their albums as well as a majority of their other tracks but Boxer is perfect to me. I won't rank albums but Boxer just happens to be one-of-my-top-ten-of-all-time-with-a-gun-to-my-head; looking forward to Barclays and hopefully a few more gigs... oh, and the new album goes without saying.
