great portraits, and the grass/cloud shot is great too. love that ground level perspective.

can i ask the significance of having your subjects eyes closed in your portraits? it's a theme i think i've seen in your work before as well.

I think in most of those pics, the sun was shining on their faces and there was a moment when they were just kinda basking in it. I like those moments.

I've done a bunch of family and kid portraits in the past few of weeks. It's kind of a tough setting for artistic expression and experimentation but i'll post up some of my favorite shots as I process them. At the very least I learn more every time I go out.

The dad seems kind of ill at ease but you got some very natural shots of the boy, including his portrait shots.

What kind of equipment are you using at the moment, MF?
