in canada, they show all hockey on tv for free

I tested the waters with a free Hulu + trial... I can't get past the obligatory commercials or the far-inferior picture quality... AND everything on Amazon Prime nickels and dimes you even after they get your $100 /year service agreement. Netflix is ok, I guess, but cutting the cord still seems like a pipe dream to me.
