Because Marvel movies featuring Robert Downey Jr. tend to make considerably more money than Marvel movies that don't feature Robert Downey Jr.

I'm looking forward to this, but I don't know that it would have sold me if I was a skeptic. I do love the casting choice they made with Tom Holland, and that teenagers look like teenagers.

Im sure its a fine movie, but i just dont care about this because im worn out with Spidey movies being kinda the same...it looks cool and expensive though.

that's not a spider man trope, though. That's a general superhero decision so the actor can emote with his face.
