how many timelines are at play? I'm pretty sure of 2 But I'm thinking there is a possibility for 3
Spoiler: show
there's a lot of continuity stuff that debunks the multiple timelines theory, but jj abrams is involved, so that could be all out the window anyway, ala LOST.
Spoiler: show
That's what I'm worried about. I think this multiple timeline thing is going to be forced into the show and we'll see how it 'works' on the season final.

a couple of hints have been dropping that Arnold wasn't a actual person. That host that resembled Ford's father looked a lot like the dude in the photo that was suppose to be Arnold which Ford showed Bernard.

for example:

before dolores shoots that guy who was trying to rape her in the barn, she accesses a MIB revery/memory (shown to us by the rapey guy turning into the MIB). afterwards, she hops on a horse, then shows up with that same horse at william and logan's camp and faints. if william and logan are on a timeline 30 years prior to the MIB, how could dolores have a revery/memory of the MIB just before encountering them?

I think the only timeline jumping possibly being done is Ford talking to the hosts

it was. however, i didn't really get what leverage maeve had with the butchers to get them to enhance her base coding. just the threat of that scalpel?

also, couldn't they just wipe her or reset her once they did it?

I was asking Mrs Rangi the same thing during that scene. Why don't they just wipe her?

I have a feeling those dudes are either Androids or clones themselves.

She was threatening them with the knowledge of what they've been up to with the hosts...stuff they aren't supposed to be doing, like sex etc. although I'm not sure how she would report them. Also not sure why they couldn't wipe her, maybe they don't have access to that program??

i think they realize they can wipe her and are just playing along, but something goes awry with maxing out her perception or whatever they called it.

As I said, I don't know but obviously the 2 guys were scared enough to do as she demanded.

Spoiler: show
It looks like it will be addressed later. From here.

Nitpicky question though: Couldn’t the body shop guys just jack down Maeve’s levels to knock her out, and make some lobotomizing so-called “mistake” to take out her memory? We’ve been shown over and over the humans have so much control, it’s hard to believe they couldn’t get the upper hand on a rogue host.

Nolan: I will point you toward episode 8.

The wipe is not working on her so she could tell the guests

not really. they would want to wipe her but something goes wrong, meaning she retains the hyper perception, which could mean anything really. Not to mention someone else is fucking with her settings
