UK Mars Bar = US 3 musketeers + caramel
UK Milky Way = nougat and chocolate
UK Snickers Almond = nougat and almonds

Europe doesn’t have the US Mars Bar, and no chocolate called 3 Musketeers.

Like the later recipe changes to the American Mars bar, Snickers Almond also contains caramel. The only Mars bar I've ever had in the US was the same as a UK Mars.

Pretty much what Anders is telling me is that every candy bar in the US is also in Europe, but they switched the names of each of them.

My dad used to work for a Mars plant in PA when I was a kid.

Of course Bounty is more or less called Mounds and Almond Joy. We have Daim, but no Skor or Heath. And there are probably more, but no switching between names like Mars/Milky Way. And it was the US that changed the names.

there are also these delicious little things sold in the uk (my wife would bring them home from business trips). i think they're like a hundred grand bar here without the caramel.

Yeah, we had Lion bars in Iceland. Very good.
