Dark Necessities is a nice surprise, damn good song.

Ah, I fully believe that if we trim Stadium Arcardium to 10 of its best songs, it ends up being a quite good album.

I also surprisingly really like the song. Glad to see there's still some good stuff in them without Frusciante.

I have a hard time believing people listen to new RHCP albums all the way through.

After reading the lyrics, I'm tempted to.

If RHCP lyrics were good, I would be worried.

I seriously don't give a duck about RHCP lyrics being profound or even making sense.

I'd be truly sad if they did, since having a dumbdumb frontman who appears to be trolling his own band is the only legitimately fun thing about them.

Man, i love the Navarro era...he really shines in One Hot Minute, and expanded their sound into a psychadelic marvelous.
Their MSG show from 96 is great.

Yesterdai I listened to Wet Sand, that song is amazing. The bass and guitar work is pure craftmanship.

Dark Necessities is a pretty enjoyable song. Not sure if I have the stomach for listening to a whole RHCP album anymore (except for the occasional spin of Californication)

It's the best song on the album so...you probably don't need to go any further.
