Love is king of the beasts
And when it gets hungry it must kill to eat

I was just listening tonight and loved the line "With all the tolls we pay, we'll own the highway someday."

According to this article, there will be a new song released every Monday for the next 10 weeks; sort of like how for Shephard there were 4-5 tracks released weekly: https://closedcap.com/2020/06/26/bill-c ... new-album/

Agreed. I can't decide what I like better: the way he introcues himself or the first line of the song: "The pigeons ate the wedding rice and blew up somewhere over San Antonio."
I'm spinning Rough Travel for a Rare Thing right now; one of my favorite LPs, one of my favorite stories behind getting it. It had already been out of print for a couple of years, and one day I noticed it popped up on the Drag City online store. Ordered it immediately. Got an email a few hours later saying the restock was a mistake. Bummer. I asked them to just cancel the order. Then, a few hours after that, got an email back that one of the stock guys spent half an hour digging through their warehouse and found a lone copy.

I like in Pigeons when he describes marriage as "when two atoms from the Big Bang get back together with the old gang."
