This is exactly like I see it. The first three albums can be grouped together with No Code being a definite break from the early era. Then they did what they wanted through Riot Act - made very good albums peppered with slightly weird and arty songs. Then starting with Avocado it seems like they have settled into a dad-rock groove with a few throwbacks to their youth sprinkled in. Very good albums in their own right but nothing reaching the highs of the first 7 albums.VinylGuy wrote:Ten-Vs Vitalogy
